For over 77 years, Montevallo Chamber has been a cornerstone of our community. Since our founding in *1949* by a small group of local merchants who had the forethought to start and support a chamber to ensure business and community representation, our mission has remained steadfast: to increase community vitality through the recruitment and support of business. We are proud of our rich history and the legacy of business and community support we have upheld. As 2026 progresses, the Montevallo Chamber will be running an article each month in the Chamber Chatter on page 4, to showcase the chamber's history with informative facts while visiting the past.
